March 12, 2020
We know many are concerned about the spread of COVID-19 (the new Coronavirus) and recent news indicating Minnesota has 5 positive cases. We do not have any cases in our facility at this time. As always, our first priority is the safety and health of our residents. Therefore, we are vigilantly following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) daily for updates and implementing the recommended precautions.
Effective immediately, access into our facility will be through the front entrance only. This is best for the safety for all and to ensure that we know who is in our building at all times.
Our PMCC Annual Meeting scheduled for March 26th at 2:00PM has been CANCELED. We will reschedule once there the risk for our community members has been mitigated.
To protect our residents and staff, we have halted all non-essential care visits until the risk of coronavirus has been mitigated. All employees and care providers will be screened prior to entering our facility. You must be in good health and will be kindly asked to not enter the building if you have any of the following symptoms or exposure:
- Colds, cough, sore throat
- Respiratory issues or new shortness of breath
- If you or someone you have been in contact with has traveled internationally to areas where COVID-19 cases have been confirmed
- If you or someone you have been in contact with lives in a community that has confirmed COVID-19 case(s)
Please note that family and friends may call 218-687-2365 and be connected via telephone to visit with their loved one.
We will continue to closely monitor and follow recommendations from the CDC and Minnesota Department of Health. We appreciate your understanding of the above restrictions and recommendations. Our goal is to ensure that all of our residents and employees remain healthy and happy. Please feel free to contact our facility at 218-687-2365 with any questions or concerns.
